SnapLoc8 allows a user to:
# Capture single images, sequence of images or full motion video
# Record Date, Time and GPS location (including last-known location where GPS signals obscured e.g. in large buildings or
underground
# Catalogue own frequently used phrases or terms-of-reference to speed up note / report production
# Personalise own set of Follow-On actions to suit working practices and work-flow processes
# Record asset barcodes with evidence (if a suitable reader is present)
# Upload evidence immediately using roaming / wireless networks - or -
# Upload later using static or wired network connection
# Speed-dial facility allows swift telephone contact with colleagues or relevant services
# Export evidence reports and images to desktop-based or office-centric systems and databases (using optional application
connectors)
In the office, uploaded evidence can be viewed using a standard web browser (with links to mapping and birds-eye view
sites to pinpoint the location where the evidence was reported).
Common data formats are used by SnapLoc8 to enable the data to be integrated with a wide range of office-based software
systems and databases.
Suitable devices include: HTC P4550 Kaiser, Orange TyTN II, Vodaphone v1615, O2 XDA Stellar, T-Mobile MDA vario III, AT&T
Tilt.
The software also runs on a wide range of similar devices without integrated GPS by using Bluetooth GPS receivers.
